Was Jesus Really Born In December?
There isn't actually any solid evidence of Jesus being born on December 25th. In fact, clues in the Bible point to Jesus being born sometime in the spring (shepherds tending to their flocks)
Who Was Santa Claus?
Santa Claus was based on a Turkish-born monk by the name of Saint Nicholas. He'd go around helping the poor and sick. In Holland, he became known as Sinter Klaas, and he was brought to America upon the Dutch's immigration to the States. And thus, Santa Claus was created.
Like The Song, "Jingle Bells"? Well Guess What? You're A Racist
The iconic song that we know and love during the holidays was created by a Confederate soldier during the Civil War. Originally named, "One Horse Open Sleigh", the song had nothing to do with Christmas, mentioned stuff about picking up girls, and was believed to have been first performed in blackface
